Carewatch Greenwich
The Business Challenge
Carewatch are one of the leading providers of care and support to people in their own homes – every week they provided approximately 161,000 hours of care from around the UK.
Some of the groups they support are:
- People with physical or learning disabilities
- Elderly frail people
- People discharged from hospital
- Children and families where the parent(s) or the child/ren have special needs
- People with mental health problems
- Other complex and unique care situations
In order to support the above groups, Carewatch wanted to ensure that their staff received the most up to date training to meet their clients needs.
The Solution
The following training package was developed which would help Carewatch meet the needs of the groups they support:
- NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care
- NVQ Level 4 Leadership and Management
The Impact
Greenwich Community College have been working in partnership with Carewatch Greenwich for the past two years successfully delivering training to their workforce. Business has been secured for the third consecutive year. Current success rates are at 100%.
