The Business Challenge
Greenwich Council (Greenwich) provides a wide range of services to the people of the Borough of Greenwich, covering areas including education, housing and social services. It also has an important role in obtaining new investment for the regeneration of the Borough, which includes the United Kingdom’s Millennium Experience. Greenwich was one of the 37 pilot ‘Best Value’ Councils in the country.
Managers in the Health and Social Care sector are required to achieve level 4 management qualifications.
The Solution
Greenwich Community College delivered NVQ Level 4s in a range of Management qualifications within the Health and Social Care Sector.
The Impact
Greenwich Community College have been working in partnership with Greenwich Council for the past three years successfully delivering mandatory training on their behalf to managers within the private and voluntary sector within the borough. Success rates have been 95% and above.
