Charity Casino Night a Success

The first Greenwich Community Business Unit Charity Casino event was a success on two fronts. As well as raising money for Demelza Hospice for Children, six of the trainee croupiers have been invited for an interview by Genting casinos who own Crockfords, the oldest private gaming club in the world.

We're part of the Get Set Network

We have officially been welcomed in to London 2012’s Get Set network, in recognition of our commitment to the Olympic and Paralympic Values.
In order to join the network, the college has been running a range of events and activities around the Olympic values including a learner conference, sports events with other colleges and students volunteering in Schools.

Free courses for Thamesmead residents

Greenwich Community College is working in partnership with Trust Thamesmead in offering free Taster and Level One Accredited Award courses in Community Development.
Open to everyone aged 16+ who lives, works or volunteers in Thamesmead, the course would benefit those who lead or are a member of a community group, about to set up a community group or service providers who work with community groups. -
