Gaming Students Cruise into Employment

Carnival Corporation, who own cruise lines including P&O, Princess and Carnival Cruises held interviews at the college’s training casino at The Valley, Charlton for a range of positions worldwide.
Since its launch in 2008, London Gaming College has trained a total of 175 students from across Europe on a range of qualification courses developed with the Gaming industry. Over 50% of students have progressed into employment in a range of casinos and cruise liners.
One of the successful students was Atena Cuculici from Romania. 32 year old Atena recently completed an intensive casino dealer course at the college and has been offered a job on one of the companies 100 cruise liners as a croupier. She was full of praise for the London Gaming College staff who taught her:
“I received fantastic training and would like to thank everyone at London Gaming College for changing my life”.
Another ecstatic student was 23 year old Rhoda Crawley from Erith. Rhoda will start her job as a casino dealer on the Crown Princess Cruise Liner which sets sail on 16 August. Rhoda was also full of praise for London Gaming College and praised the ‘Amazing staff’.
Other successful students included Adrian Neagu, 22, from Romania and Sonny Henty, 22, from Eltham.
Head of London Gaming College, Alan Penny was delighted about the successful outcomes of the day:
“To have an employer of the calibre of Carnival Corporation use London Gaming College as a venue for their recruitment day is a great honour. The fact that many of our students have been offered jobs today pays testament to our fantastic teaching staff and the training facilities we offer. It also shows why people come from across Europe to train with us.”
