What does the course include?
This is an 18 week Casino Surveillance Security & Dealer Training Course. Students are taught to deal the games to the standard required to work in a British Casino. Games taught include; Blackjack and Three Card Poker.
In addition you will be taught Casino procedures, General Casino Security, Surveillance Equipment Operation, Casino Games Monitoring, an introduction to the Gambling Law and Service Skills including; Customer Services, Health & Safety at Work, Social Responsibility (Problem Gambling) and Team Work.

What do I need to get onto this course?
You will need a level of integrity and an understanding of maths in order to calculate quickly. An interview and test is a prerequisite for the course.
How will I be assessed?
- Visually on a daily basis
- Formally at three weekly intervals
- Practically at casino nights
Where does it lead?
Students successfully completing the course will achieve a Diploma in Gambling Operations at Level 2. Students will also receive full advice and guidance on how to apply for and attend a Casino interview.
