What does the course include?
The NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Aviation Operations on the ground (knowledge) prepares you for entry to airline industry training. The qualification aims to provide learners with the skills in health, safety, security and communications required to work within an Aviation Environment and to develop learners skills in specific aviation functions.

What do I need to get onto this course?
The minimum age for this qualification is 16 and there are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification but a keen interest in the airline industry is recommended. Entry onto the course remains at the discretion of the centre and may be subject to an interview. A good command of both written and spoken English is required.
How will I be assessed?
The qualification consists of 3 mandatory units and 10 optional units which are internal assessed and you are required to produce a portfolio of work that covers all the learning outcomes for each unit. Assessment guidance is provided for each unit by our course tutor.
