Combined with specially designed training it will progress students to monitoring, installing and/or maintaining electrical installations, plant and equipment or who are “duty holders” for the inspection, testing and certification process. Students must pass an initial assessment in order to enrol on this course.

What are the benefits for employers?

GCC has always put the student learning experience at the top of its agenda in planning its programs. As a college we aim to achieve 10% above the national benchmark for courses that the college runs. In today’s economic climate our provision is competitively priced, to provide first class training to those who are unable to access funding for career development.

The college has developed a comprehensive training program it wishes to pilot to address the high fail rate of the 2391 course. This course is an innovative training combination of the City & Guilds 2382 & 2391 courses. It will take students through the requirements for both qualifications and both sets of exams.
