What does the course include?

This course is specifically tailored to each individual employer’s requirements. The course is designed to be flexible, to accommodate the needs of the employer and is delivered on the employer’s site.

The course will include reporting and recording accidents details, assessment, summoning help, chocking, the recovery position and shock burns.

This course can be held at the employers place of work or at any of the college’s sites

What do I need to get onto this course?

There are no formal entry requirements for this course

How will I be assessed?

Following the 3 hour training session, there will be a short multiple choice test.
Candidates achieving a 50% pass, receive an attendance certificate.

Where does it lead?

It is also will benefit care workers undertaking the Skills for Care – Common Induction Standards. You can also progress in undertaking further QCF Health & Safety qualifications.
